- Locale Destination -
It's located on E. 17th St & Santa Ana Ave in Newport Beach. It's almost the border of Costa Mesa & Newport Beach. It's tiny but nice seating inside and outside. The decor is very simple and modern. The service is pretty good. Healthy eating in their mind - focusing on Italian & Asian cuisine. They make almost all of them there - seasonings, breads, desserts etc. Their homemade seasonings are pretty impressive. (See my pics!) They don't take a $100 bill nor Amex. So be careful. The price is very inexpensive.
- Gluttony Expedition -
Shitake artichoke pesto pizza: Garnet yam, garlic, shallot, baby arugula, spinach, olives and mixed nuts were the toppings. It was light yet nicely seasoned. The pizza crust looked like a flat pita bread. It's not like a regular pizza, but it was good in this case. I sprinkled bunch of their homemade seasonings - I love them!
Grilled cheese goodness: Havarti & white cheddar were nicely melted and gave a nice lemon flavor. The blood orange honey Dijon was homemade. The cranberry walnut bread was very good. I usually don't like the fruits in the food, but this was pretty good. This was very very good grilled cheese. It's filling and tasty. Fancy version grilled cheese. I do like it.
Tomato soup: I guess they put lots of seasonings but the broth was kinda too light / weak. I didn't like it at all.
Banana chocolate studel with a honey scented ice cream: Banana was caramelized and lightly coated with chocolate. It wasn't so sweet, which was great. The pies were very light. The ice cream was very light and i could tell easily it was freshly made there. The hint of the honey taste.. Mmmm... I do like it 
The texture was pretty light for the ice cream.

4.5 stars. I don't like "Vegetarian foods" which aren't seasoned at all. I didn't like "Native Cafe" in Costa Mesa at all, but this place was great! Vegetarian dishes can be very tasty without meats. I myself cook vegetarian foods a lot, so I do know they can be very good. They seasoned very well though they give a light finish on each dish. I can feel they spend time to keep their products fresh and tasty. I do appreciate the fact that they pay attention to details and quality. Menu isn't so big but I do wanna try them all. The price is pretty decent - I think it's cheap for the quality and portion. I do like here
